Heat Relief Station

On the 23th of July, the Chimerica Woman Association conducted a heat relief station in Brooklyn Dyker Heights, 62nd Street Subway Station, New York. This is where they gifted drinks (tea and coconut water) to help remedy the effects of the intense heat, all free of charge. COVID19 prevention supplies were also handed out along with baby formula to those in need.
Anti-pandemic
Jan. 2020, we organized, fundraised, and
donated medical protective equipment
like masks, thermometers, and gloves to
China.
Mar. 2020, we provided free mental health counseling services and delivered free Chinese herbal products to our communities in NYC to against the covid-19. Approximately 600 families and 3,000 people benefited from these services.


May 05, 2020, we called on our members
to purchase and donate medical supplies
to New York-Presbyterian Hospital and
NYPD for the objective of a Covid-free
community.

Aug. 2020, We began to cooperate with
other non-profit organizations to provide
free food for community residents who
were affected by the pandemic, especially
those who could not return to China due
to the epidemic or Chinese citizens who
stayed in New York without legal status
and need special supports; And cooperate
with many service centers to provide them
with employment opportunities.
Disaster Relief & Support
Jul 29, 2021, our members raised funds
for people who suffered floods in Henan
province, China.
Aug 28, 2021, we donated and delivered
daily supplies to people in Haiti.


Oct 19, 2022, we assisted SunWei
Association to collect funds for the family
of child Li, Yong’an who died in a car
accident.
Activity
Feb 18, 2022, we distributed free sticky
rice balls with greetings to fellow Chinese in NYC to celebrate the Lantern Festival. Since the outbreak of covid-19, we have been distributing lots of supplies to our community, assisting numerous people on filling out different forms.

Jul. 23, 2022, we worked with other social fellowships to distribute Chinese herbal packages to prevent heat stroke to the residents in our community.

Mar 06, 2022, we held a large party to celebrate international women’s day, 200 guests attended this party. We granted awards to those female members who made great contributions to our community in this party as well. During the pandemic of covid-19, our members are committed to provide essential assistance to our community in fighting with covid-19.
